Applications

Rail

Powertrain and cooling

Powerpacks, cooler hoods, exhaust routing and fans are assessed at standstill and in motion. Cooling-air short circuit, recirculation and back pressure are typical system issues.

Driver and passenger spaces

HVAC analyses consider temperature and velocity distribution, defrosting, humidity, condensation and supply to the occupied zone.

Fire safety and external flow

Transient smoke and gas dispersion can support detector placement and ventilation assessment. External-flow analysis addresses drag, pressure loads and front-shape effects.
