Combustion and gas dynamics

Burners, exhaust systems and gas flows can be assessed for mixing, reaction, heat release, pressure loss and temperature. Model selection follows the fuel, pressure level and relevant time scale.

Smoke and gas dispersion

Fire scenarios can assess smoke, temperature and species transport as well as detector or extraction-system exposure. Standards such as EN 50553 define requirements; simulation is one part of the evidence process.
